1. Our commitment

We want every visitor to be able to use this website and our office, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification or voice control.

2. Standard we aim for

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We review the site against that standard at least annually and after any significant change.

3. Measures taken

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order
  • Text and background colour combinations tested for contrast
  • Descriptive alternative text on every meaningful image
  • Full keyboard operability, including the navigation menu and accordions
  • Visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields
  • Form fields with associated labels and status messages announced to assistive technology
  • Respect for the operating-system “reduce motion” preference, which turns off all animation
  • Responsive layout that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels

4. Known limitations

The embedded map on our contact and service-area pages is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible. The same address information is available as plain text immediately beside it, and we will give directions over the phone to anyone who asks.

5. Physical accessibility

Our office at 826 Peachtree Street has a step-free entrance and accessible restroom. If travelling to us is difficult, our notaries will come to you anywhere in the Columbus metro, and remote online notarization is available statewide.

6. Reporting a barrier

If something on this site prevents you from doing what you came to do, tell us and we will fix it. Email admin@waheedmirza.ca or call +1 312-660-8805. We acknowledge within one business day and aim to resolve within ten.
