My office provides Notary Public Services for notarization of documents, commissioning of Affidavits, Statutory Declaration and witnessing of signatures on various types of documents in the Greater Toronto Area.

Making a Certified Copy (True Copy)

A copy of the original document is certified by the Notary Public to be a true and accurate copy of the original document. Please bring the original document when visiting. A photocopy of the original will be made by my office. The fees related to Notary Public services are:
• $30.00 (includes HST) for a single document or the first copy certified
• $15.00 (includes HST) for each subsequent document certified

Affidavit or statutory declaration:

This document is a statement of facts or contents made by the affiant or declarant based on personal knowledge or information and belief as true and correct. The person(s) swearing the affidavit or statutory declaration must appear before the Commissioner/Notary Public. The document being commissioned should be completed or we can prepare it on reasonable charges, but not signed, before your appointment. I will verify the identity of the person, the genuineness of the signature, and administer an oath or solemn affirmation. My charges for this service are:

• $20.00 (includes HST) for a single document
  • $15.00 (includes HST) for each subsequent document
  • $50.00 – $100.00 (includes HST) for preparation of an affidavit or statutory declaration according to your particular requirement, depending on the complexity and the time spent on the subject matter.

Consent to Travel Document / Parent Consent Letter –

This document is required and recommended by the Government of Canada when children are travelling abroad alone or with only one parent/guardian, with friends or relatives or with a group. This consent letter is drafted accordingly to the recommended specifications and is usually signed by every non-accompany person(s) with the legal right to make major decisions for the child, including anyone with custody rights, guardianship rights, parental authority, by any non-accompanying parent who has access to the child. My fee includes drafting the letter as well as notarizing. The person(s) granting consent must attend my office with valid photo identification.

• $50.00 (includes HST) for drafting and notarization of the document

Letter of Invitation

This letter is usually required by a person when applying for a temporary resident visa (TRV) to visit Canada and is provided by someone living in Canada. I will draft and attest this document for a fee of $100.00 (includes HST).
